Teams
A team groups people who work together in Stairway. Members can see browsers attributed to the team on the team dashboard. Stop and delete stay with the person who owns the session.
Create or join a team under Account → Settings → Teams. Owners and admins can create invite codes, manage members, and add sessions to the team.
Team dashboard
Open a team from Settings → Teams, or follow a team link from the Dashboard. The team dashboard shows:
- Members — people on the team and their roles
- Invites — create or revoke invite codes (owners and admins)
- Compute usage — team meters with a toggle between Team containers (sessions attributed to this team) and All member usage (all-time usage for everyone on the team)
- Containers — remote browsers launched with this team selected, or later shared onto the team
Start a session with the team
On New browser, choose the team under team attribution (or leave personal). That session appears on the team dashboard for every member.
Share an existing personal session
If you already started a personal browser, open its menu on the Dashboard, Browsers, the session detail page, or the team dashboard (when you own the row) and choose Share with team. Pick the team (or No team to unshare).
- A session belongs to one team at a time (or none — personal).
- Unshare returns it to personal; teammates no longer see it on the team dashboard.
- Only the session owner can share or unshare their own browsers this way.
Add session (owners and admins)
On the team dashboard containers card, owners and admins can use Add session. The dialog lists your personal browsers (not already on a team). Confirming attaches one of yours to this team — the same effect as Share with team, from the team’s side.
If you have no personal sessions yet, create one from New browser (leave team as personal, then add it), or start a new session with this team selected.
