Downloads

Files saved inside a remote Stairway browser are collected for you on the Downloads page — you do not pick a folder in the remote desktop. Open Downloads from the top header any time you are signed in.

Browser downloads​

When you (or an agent) download a file in the session, it appears under that session on Downloads, usually within seconds. Use the download link to fetch the file to your machine.

HAR captures​

From the Dashboard session menu:

  1. Start HAR capture
  2. Browse as needed
  3. Finish HAR capture
  4. Refresh Downloads — the HAR appears with that session’s artifacts

Screenshots and snapshots​

Session actions can capture a screenshot or a session snapshot. Those artifacts are available alongside downloads for the session.

Tips​

  • Keep the session around until files appear on Downloads if something is still syncing.
  • Deleted sessions may still have historical artifacts listed depending on retention; do not rely on Downloads as long-term archival unless your team has a process for that.
