Bug reports

Use Bug reports when something in Stairway does not work as expected. You open a ticket, optionally attach screenshots, and follow status updates from the Stairway team.

Open Account → Bug reports (or use the report control on the remote browser toolbar to start a ticket linked to the current session).

Open a ticket

  1. Enter a short title and a description (what you expected vs what happened).
  2. Optionally attach up to five screenshots (PNG, JPEG, or WebP; size limits apply).
  3. Submit — the ticket appears in your list with a status badge.

If you report from inside a live session, Stairway can link that session so support can review related context when needed.

Track progress

Your tickets move through statuses such as open, acknowledged, in progress, resolved, and closed. Each status change is timestamped with the previous and next status, so you can see how long a ticket spent in each stage. Open a ticket to read messages and status notes from the team. Reply when they ask for more detail or confirmation that a fix works for you.

Tips

  • Prefer concrete steps and what you saw (error text, which page, which browser type).
  • Screenshots of the stream or the Stairway page help more than a vague “it failed.”
  • For questions about how to use a feature, check Documentation first; use bug reports for defects and unexpected behavior.
